Girl wanting to be more than friends?

hey guys i dated a girl for three and a half months. everything was going reall y well we did all of the things couples do minus . she told me she would always love me that we would be togeather no matter what. she even told me it was okay to get her a couples ring for christmas. so i spend a hundred and sixty dollars and just last week she breaks up with me. tells me she never loved me for no more than a friend. we exchanged gifts the other day. she still wanted the ring. said she would take it as a symbol of friendship. i was weary about doing it at first but i gave it to her. it took a few days but we are friends now. i was just wondering if deep down she wants to still be in a relationship. because when went to her house to exchange gifts she had on makeup and was all dressed up. she still allowed me to put my arm around her sat rather close to me on couch. she kept smiling at me alot i just wonder if there could another chance for us.
