I need help with guy problems......?

( This is an off and on thing its been going on for like 3 months now, he would talk to me then stop then talk to me again ) ok , yesterday was the 2nd time i hung out with this kid i like and he always put's his arm around me and everything but when i chill with him all of his friends are there and its awkward and i just get shy because i dont know them , but he would always text me and everything but then after we chilled and everything he drove me home and before i got out of the car we madeout ( first time we kissed ) , then i got out of the car and went home..... he hasnt texted or talked to me since ... what does this mean ????
