Is The Mists of Avalon a a book for women and girls mostly?

i'm a guy and i was just wondering if i would be able to enjoy it? not to sound ist or anything. i see the Twilight series targeted for girls. what is the target audience for the Mists of Avalon? (by Marion Zimmer Bradley)
